Do new golf clubs neeed to be broken in?
I just bought the 2006 model of the Callway Big bertha irons and used them today. I couldnt hit any of them for crap and they felt a lot different then at the store. Is it normal for them to need to be broken in?
No golf clubs don't need to be "broken in". It is probably just that they are different from your old clubs, with more or less offset, possibly a different flex shaft etc, and it will take you some time to get used to them. Get the driving range and experiment with your set up - and enjoy your new clubs.
